This is an incomplete concept I began drawing in 1987 or thereabouts , maybe earlier . I had been laying on the grass on the hill at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin in a pleasant altered state of consciousness , staring up to the sky and the clouds formed a circle of people who were apparently beconning me upward . I had no illusions of my ability to fly on up , so instead I just took in the extreme detail and beaauty of this vision and had grand ideas that the resulting sketch would be one of my masterpieces. Well , life got in the way and upon discovering this piece which has remained deeply ingrained in my consciousness … I decided to “edit” it and make it available for viewing.
