Dear Randall Rospond:
Enclosed is a review of the cd that you sent to me.
CD
THE HAIKU HILLBILLYS
STUDIO/LIVE 2008
COMMENTS
This project is a combination of several different types of music that when fit together are extremely entertaining & appeal to a wide variety of tastes. It truly has something for everyone. Although, it is billed as funky groovin‘ poetic folk, I find some fine vintage rock & roll from the 50’s & 60’s hidden away in the songs as well. The original songs in this project are thought provoking, & the band really shows off their instrumental prowess many times over. I have to say that picking out my favorite songs has been extremely difficult. But after a lot of soul searching I would give my
vote to “So Long Mr. Chaos”. There was something about this song along with the old school rock & roll music that kept pulling me back over & over. For a unique project that deserves to be in your collection make sure “The Haiku Hillbillys” are next to your cd player.

Thank you for sharing this fine project with us.
Cordially,
Al Shusterman
