So in the meantime and to round out the year: a quick “Ltd. Edition Bootleg” is being prepared for interested parties. In order to follow creativity’s path … I have taken on a new recording project.
Many folks have requested a CD which features my “Live Guitar Looping: Solo Performance Sound”
I have captured a clean yet live sound in my home studio. Capturing single takes of my latest songs without overdubs.
These recordings are an honest representation of my live solo performances. Some were self engineered , while other cuts were engineered by Byron Townsend.
To release a new CD and not include my varied bandmates & formats seemed … well … limited.
So I expanded this project to include my groovy trio: Danny M: Bass & Kerry Sofaly: Drums
w/ Joel Katz engineering. … this became the bulk of the CD … humbly = live magic
Wayne Westcott helped me engineer a living room recording of the Haiku Hillbillys
w/ Sue Westcott: Violin , Rand Coon: Banjo , Kerry Sofaly on light brushes
due to the severe madness of our times and the critical chaos of America …
I have included a 1987 home studio recording including studio overdubs etc. “All the Preseident’s Men”
self engineered in Canmore, Alberta in 1987 … check my math = 30 years ago !!!!
