In an attempt to feed my soul during this crazy gigless pandemic, I began recording live solo performances in my home studio = the Pukalani Penthouse. Since the first session was March 26 … “Prince Kuhio Day” in Hawaii … that explains the project title … as it honors Hawaii’s heir to the throne who is most importantly known for securing homesteads for Native Hawaiians, as well as Hawaii’s statehood as # 50 !
The music is made up of a few new covers ; as well as some old & brand new originals. It is a 2 CD set with approximately 2 1/2 hours of recently recorded music. Included in the hand made & designed package are some lyrics & artwork .
